Lois Reinhold, 89, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Friday, August 19. She was born December 21, 1926 in Hadley, Minnesota to Helmer John and Veda (Engebretson) Oslund. She grew up in Minnesota and worked on the family farm until 1961. She then moved to Whittier, CA where she lived until her husband, Alvin, passed away. She came to Sweet Home in 2000 to be near her son.

Lois was a active member of Fir Lawn Lutheran Church. She hand made many quilts with the Women’s Group to give to those with needs. She loved to cook and bake cookies. She was a wonderful woman with a heart of pure gold.

She is survived by her son, Robert Reinhold, and his wife, Patti; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Reinhold; daughter, Diane Schamber; and brothers, Bob and Gordon.
