Lloyd Leslie Meyers, Jr., 93, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Monday, July 24. He was born in Columbus, Nebraska to Anna Adele (Warnsted) and Lloyd Leslie Meyers, Sr.

After high school, Lloyd served in the United States Army in Europe and Hawaii. He re-enlisted in the United States Air Force and served until he retired.

He met and married Felicia Duncan in 1974 in Riverside, California. Later, they moved to Yucaipa, California before settling in Sweet Home in 2008.

Lloyd worked as a projectionist at a theater in Riverside, California until 1993. He was a member of Church of Christ (3702 Long Street) in Sweet Home.

He enjoyed woodworking, making furniture, and working in his yard. He loved his family and “Pinky,” his dog.

Lloyd is survived by his wife, Felicia Meyers, of Sweet Home; six children; 22 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Meyers; brother Bobby Meyers; and sister Frances (Meyers).

Viewing will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, August 3, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 5, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Military honors and final burial will follow at Gilliland Cemetery.
