Lloyd Edward Mutinsky, 81, of Sweet Home, Oregon died Saturday, September 28, at an Albany nursing home. He was born February 10, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Edward J. and Helen Rosemary (Svarc) Mutinsky. He moved from Chicago in 1944 to San Leandro, California. Lloyd lived in the Bay Area until moving to Sweet Home the fall of 1975.
He served in the California Air National Guard. He was a news photographer for the Oakland Tribune. He was a court reporter for Lane County Circuit Court from 1975 until retirement.
Lloyd enjoyed photography, taking photos at weddings, the Oregon Jamboree, and square dancing conventions. He loved square dancing. He belonged to the Single Trees and Squarenadors. He also enjoyed white water rafting and was a fan of Mason Williams and Ken Kesey. He attended Community Chapel in Sweet Home.
He is survived by cousins Phyllis Wilson of Texas and Joe Kotlar of California. He was preceded in death by his parents.
