Leslie Bate, 55, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday in Eugene. She was born in Lebanon to Richard and LaVona (Hobin) Howe.

She worked at White’s Electronics for many years.

Leslie loved camping, country music, the Oregon Jamboree, and watching University of Oregon Ducks and the Green Bay Packers football games.

She is survived by: her mother, Lee Howe of Eugene; sons, Kyle Gazeley of Sweet Home and Nicholas Bate of Albany; brothers, Lindsey Howe of Eugene and Brian Howe of Sweet Home; sister, Cheri Johnson of Eugene; and two grandchildren.

Leslie was preceded in death by her father, Richard Howe, and brother, Jeff Howe.

A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
