Leroy Louis Wink
May 12, 1958 – January 25, 2024

Leroy Louis Wink, 65, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. Leroy was born at Albany General Hospital on May 12, 1958 to Mhynard and Hattie (Twining) Wink. He graduated from South Albany High School in 1976 and joined the Air Force as a Jet Engine Mechanic after graduation.

He married his wife, Julie Wink, on October 8, 1999, in Albany. They have spent the last 24 years devoted to each other while raising three of their kids in the Albany area. They spent many summers camping and quadding and just enjoying the outdoors. Leroy was a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan; he spent many days playing Xbox with his grandson Leroy James “LJ” and binge-watching television shows with his wife.

Surviving is his wife, Julie Wink of Sweet Home; daughters: Becky Gomez and Lisa Graham of Council Bluffs, IA and Leslie Musgrove of Halsey, OR; sons: Paul Wink of Council Bluffs, IA, Corey Tucker of Hendersonville, TN and Ben Tucker of Albany, OR; brothers: Leo Wink of Lebanon and Cecil of Redmond; sister, Shirley Ward of Aberdeen, WA; 22 grandkids and five great-grandkids. Leroy was preceded in death by mom, Hattie; dad, Mhynard; sister, Donna Seigmund; and brothers Duane, Lyle, Dale, Burton, and Junior Wink.

Funeral service will be 10 am Friday February 2nd at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel,1443 Long St, Sweet Home, OR 97386. Final burial will follow at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens, 34275 Riverside Dr, Albany, OR 97321. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. www.sweethomefuneral.com
