Leon Kay Ohnesorge, 84, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Thursday, May 24. He was born in Belvidere, Nebraska to Emil C. and Paula Lilly (Kapperman) Ohnesorge.
He grew up Henriette, Minnesota. He moved from Bloomington, Minnesota, then to Sweet Home in 1995 where he enjoyed his retirement.
Leon retired as warranty director from Lend Lease in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He enjoyed working with his hands and helping his neighbors.
Leon is survived by his wife, Joyce Ohnesorge, of Sweet Home; children Krista Jameson of South Carolina, Colette Jubert of Florida, and Lee Ohnesorge of Minnesota; sister Eva Pelton of Minnesota; grandchildren Amy Matsumoto of South Carolina and Adam Jubert of New York; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Ohnesorge; children Lindie Kaye, Michelle Elane, and Charles John; and his parents.
