Larry Dee Powers
September 10, 1941 – February 23, 2024

Larry Dee Powers, 82, of Lebanon passed away Friday February 23, 2024. Larry was born in Porter Township, Michigan to Duane Elber and Jane S. (Bonine) Powers.

Larry lived in Riverside, California for many years. He worked for the Riverside Wastewater Treatment Plant and retired in 1997. He married, Phyllis Ray in 1987. He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1990. Larry was very involved in the Boy Scouts program. He was a ham radio enthusiast. He loved working on equipment, his dogs, golf and camping in his RV, especially at the Adams’ Ranch.

Larry is survived by his wife, Phyllis Powers of Lebanon; children: Theresa White, Tamara Ridout, Lora Steiverson, Lisa King and Lawrence Powers; 13 grandchildren; and sisters: Carol Herzog and Sherry Carmichael. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Destiny White.

Viewing will be 10 am Wednesday March 6th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1955 S. 5th St, Lebanon. Funeral service will follow at 11 am. Burial will follow at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. www.sweethomefuneral.com.
