Kenneth Leroy Pace, 61, of Sweet Home was born in Springfield, Oregon, the son of App and Georgia (Green) Pace. He moved to Sweet Home as a young man and lived here most of his life.

Ken worked for Norpac Foods for nearly 30 years. He enjoyed his association with the VFW in Sweet Home.

He is survived by: his long-time companion, Virginia Waters; sister, Shirlee Pace Hoffman of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; brothers, Dennis Pace of Albany and Robert, Gary, Steve, and Richard Pace, all of Sweet Home; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Georgia (2009) and App (1982).

Viewing will be at 12:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2013 at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2013, also at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Burial will take place at Gilliland Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
