Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Gilliland Cemetery. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Community Chapel in Sweet Home.
Kenneth Keil Reynolds, Sr., 78, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday. He was born in Crawfordsville to Edgar and Marie (Arehart) Reynolds.
He lived in both Brownsville and Sweet Home for many years. He drove log truck for Rice Logging for over 25 years and was a truck driver for 58 years.
Kenneth grew up attending the Holley Church. He was baptized in the Calapooia River in 1948 and had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Kenneth loved to hunt and fish and had been on many Alaskan fishing trips. He dreamed of moving to Alaska and living off the land. He had an infectious laugh that filled the room whenever he was around.
He is survived by: children, Richard and Mary Sue Reynolds of Sweet Home, Barbara and Scott Woll of Clackamas, Timothy Reynolds of Halsey, Kenneth, Jr., and Tamara Reynolds of Sweet Home, Rebecca Ermini of Clackamas, Wayne and Cathy Reynolds of Shedd, Dale Reynolds of Brownsville, Connie Lorenzo of Albany, Mollie Reynolds of Sweet Home, Steven Reynolds of Portland, Scott and Carrie Reynolds of Oregon City; siblings, Rose and Robert Rice of Sweet Home, Donald and Shanna Reynolds of Stayton, Carol Nichol of Sweet Home, Patricia and Richard Cheek of Sweet Home; 28 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren with two on the way.
Kenneth was preceded in death by: his parents Edgar Reynolds, Sr., and Marie Reynolds; brother, Edgar Reynolds, Jr.; nephew, Robert Reynolds; brother-in-law, Michael Nichol; great niece, Katie Reynolds; and grandson, Vincent Ermini.
