Dale Lefler, 69, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014. He was born in Livermore, California to Pauline Saphronia (Villers) and Loral Kenneth Lefler.

Dale was raised in Coleville, Washington and came to Oregon after his military service. Dale served honorably in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era. He moved to Sweet Home in 1968. Dale worked at Santiam Supply for many years before he retired.

Dale’s favorite winter pastime was snowmobiling. Other favorite things he enjoyed doing were gardening and working on his cabin.

He is survived by: his wife, Barbara, of Sweet Home; daughters Tammie McCorkhill and her husband, Rod, of Sweet Home, and Dixie Oxender and her husband, Monte, of Lebanon; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Dale was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Wagner.

Contributions may be made in Dale’s name to the American Cancer Society. No services are planned at this time.
