Judith Lynne O’Donnell, 73, of Brownsville, Oregon passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013. She was born in Vallejo, California to Silvio and Wanda( Webb ) Arata.

She moved to Brownsville in September 1992.

Judith worked for Contra Costa County California working with mentally disabled adults until she retired in 1992.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, being near family, horse racing, and just enjoying life.

Judith is survived by: her husband, Mike O’Donnell of Brownsville; brothers, Ray and Jay Westmoreland of Springfield, Oregon; son, Dennis O’Donnell of Baltimore, Maryland; nephews, Kenny Westmoreland of Anderson, California, Edward Arata of Veneta, Oregon, and Nick Arata of Arbuckle, California; niece, Stacie Shafer of Veneta, Oregon; and grandchildren, Chris O’Donnell, Keana Shafer, and Kaman Shafer.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Louis Arata.

A viewing is arranged for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 104 Blakely Ave., Brownsville, Oregon. Funeral Mass will follow at noon. Final burial will take place at Gilliland Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
