A memorial service is going to be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, at the Elk’s Lodge in Sweet Home.
Juanita Mae Pike, 72, of Sweet Home, Oregon died Monday, August 5, 2013. She was born in Bend to Charles Henry and Minnie Louise (Hannaman) Whitman.
Juanita lived in Bend until moving to Beaver, Oregon in 2004. She moved to Sweet Home in 2007. Juanita worked as a motel maid and did mill cleanup. She was also a housewife and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and painting.
Juanita is survived by: her husband, Mel Pike of Sweet Home; daughters, Robin Huntley and Roxanne Chastain, both of Bend; son, Rodrick Foster of Bend; several step children and step grandchildren; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Everett Geddes (1995).
