John Everett Snyder
December 22, 1942 – May 10, 2024

John Everett Snyder, of Lebanon, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, May 10th, 2024 at the age of 81, the very day Aurora Borealis lit up our night skies. John was the heart of gold in every room and never met a stranger in his life. Born on December 22, 1942 to Alma and Donald Snyder in Marshfield, Oregon, shortly thereafter, his entire family relocated to Lebanon, which had been home to John for more than 79 years. As a graduate of Lebanon High School and a student at Oregon State University, John was a scratch golfer and had won numerous tournaments over the years in Oregon. John remained a proud Lebanon Warrior booster, regularly attending home games for both women and men intramural sporting events. Those left to celebrate and cherish the memories of John are his daughter, Kelly; his son, John Jr.; his daughter in law, Jami; his grandchildren, Jackson, Jillian and Johnny; his siblings, Donald Louis Snyder and Phylis Mae Rawlings; and other treasured lifelong friends and extended family members. John will be missed beyond words by all who loved and knew him.

A celebration of life will be held in June for friends and family.
