JoAnn (Spratt) Albert, 82, died Friday afternoon at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. She was born on August 31, 1942, in Forest Grove, OR to Russell and Helen (Brockman) Spratt.
The family moved to Sweet Home in 1943. She attended Sweet Home Union High School; she continued her education at Linn Benton Community College. JoAnn married the love of her life, Tom Albert on January 17, 1958, in Foster, OR. JoAnn was an office manager for Dr. Frederic Baier, GP, Sweet Home. She later worked as a receptionist for the USFS. After retirement, she volunteered for the Oregon Jamboree for 16 years, working in the information booth and in back stage hospitality. She enjoyed RVing, traveling throughout the US and Italy, golfing, wine tasting and entertaining close friends. She was determined, loyal and loved life. She loved her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, all of whom she doted upon and all of whom will miss her dearly. She was looking forward to meeting her first great-great grandchild next summer.
