Jewel Dean King, 77, of Lebanon, Oregon passed away Tuesday, September 30. She was born in Orange, California to Sylvester and Sarah Jane (Huffstutler) Ellis.

She moved from California to Lebanon in 1978. She worked in most of the restaurants in Lebanon. Jewel really enjoyed cooking.

Jewel loved rock hunting, hunting berries, and helping people.

She is survived by: children Judy Hanson, Mary Ford, Jack King, and Phyllis Lefevers of Lebanon; brothers Michael Ellis of Washington and Carl Ellis of California; sister Sheila Clem of Oregon; eight grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Jewel was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, and three sisters.
