Jessmon Marie Pruitt Belanger, 94, of Sweet Home passed away Sunday. She was born in Avery, Oklahoma to Oliver Luther and Tinydove (Bittick) Coonrod.

She moved to San Joaquin Valley, California eventually moving to Sweet Home in 1970.

In her younger days she loved to quilt and made lots of quilts for family members.

Jessmon is survived by children: John Pruitt of Sweet Home, Sally Phillips of Killeen, Texas, Stephen Pruitt of California, Vernon Pruitt of Coos Bay; step-son Ricky Belanger; twenty two grandchildren; fifty six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband John F. Pruitt in 1976; 2nd husband Joseph Belanger in 1986; children: Bonnie Massingale, Doris McKeaver, Wayne Pruitt, Dean Pruitt, Richard Pruitt, and infant Roger Pruitt; and step-son Tracey Belanger.

Memorial service will be 11 am Friday April 22nd at Full Gospel Church, 2331 Hwy. 20 Sweet Home. Urn will be placed at Gilliland Cemetery.
