Jeffrey Boyd Stafford, 66, of Sweet Home passed away Tuesday. He was born in Sweet Home to Virgil Jackson and Emogene Alma Meta (Koehring) Stafford.
He lived in Sweet Home his whole life except for a short time in Crawfordsville.
Jeffrey worked for Robert Pickett, Tack Logging, and 4M Fiber. From 1996 – 2012 he worked for Melcher Logging. From 2018 until 2021 he drove log truck for his son Joe at Stafford Trucking.
He loved hunting, fishing and camping with his children and grandchildren. His sons, son-in-law, grandsons, and one granddaughter are presently on the hunting trip he participated in every year. I hope Jeff and his grandson, Kolby Keenon, are hunting together right now and his sons and grandkids feel their spirit with them. His grandkids called him Grandpa, Grumpa (grumpy old man), and Grandpappy! He enjoyed camping and spending time with his brother’s and sister’s. He loved family and he had a great big family! He touched so many people’s lives, they loved listening to his stories, and sincerely enjoyed being with him.
