Jeffery B. Goertzen, 48, of Sweet Home passed away Tuesday. He was born in Grand Island, Nebraska to Frances Goertzen-Wilson.

He married Jennifer Bomberger and had two daughters, Katherine Lucille and JoVanna Louise. They divorced. Later Jeffery married Terry Blaylock on July 5, 2008.

Jeffery had many jobs such as: construction, cook, forklift driver and small engine mechanic. He loved music and playing his drums.

He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age and was baptized. He has been attending Sweet Home Christian Church.

Jeffery is survived by his wife Terry of Sweet Home; daughters: Charlotte of Oregon, Katherine L. Goertzen, JoVanna L. Goertzen both of Nebraska; step children: Jessica Weitman of Aumsville, Dakota Weitman of Eugene; Parents: Frances and Mike Wilson of Sweet Home; three granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Merle and Adella Goertzen.

Memorial service will be 11:00 am Saturday January 28th at Sweet Home Christian Church. His ashes will be spread in Nebraska in July. Memorial contributions can be made in his name to Sweet Home Christian Church. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. www.sweethomefuneral.com
