Janice Borden, 72, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019. She was born in Monroe, Wisconsin to Theodore and Betty (McKibben) Meichtry.

Janice moved to Sweet Home, met James in 1980, and they moved to Texas. In the late 80s, they moved to Redmond. In 2002, Janice moved to Sweet Home.

Janice was as a nurse. She loved fishing, Bingo, hunting, dice games, and quilting.

Janice is survived by daughters Deena Cain and Lauri Roles; sons Larry Borden and Mike Borden; sisters Sharon Stafford, Vickie Walker, and Donna Lucontro; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Borden; son Steven R. Norenberg; sister Christine Emma; mother Betty J. Meichtry; father Theodore R. Meichtry.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 13, at Sweet Home VFW.
