Janet Laureen Ryan, 58, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday in Springfield. She was born in Roswell, New Mexico to George S. and Lois R. (Green) Hannah.

Janet lived in Florence from 1984 until 2005 when she moved to Sweet Home and lived there until her death. She was a homemaker and enjoyed woodworking, crafting, and gardening.

Janet is survived by her son, Travis Ryan, and his wife, Liz, of Sweet Home and brother, Mark Hannah, of Bandon. She was preceded in death by her husband, John K. Ryan, in 2011.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland where she will be placed next to her husband, John.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
