Jamie Louise Riggan, 59, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday, February 18, at her home in Sweet Home with her significant other, Donald Courtway, at her side. She was born in Walnut Creek, California to Henry and Grace (Vaughn) Sword.

Jamie grew up riding her horse in Tracy, California and loved being outside. She was very proud of her son and loved all her grandchildren dearly.

She has been a part of the Sweet Home community for 26 years and worked at Walmart in Lebanon for more than 15 of those. She loved the community she lived and worked in and cherished her customers.

Jamie is survived by her significant other, Donald Courtway; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Sara Sword; four grandchildren; brother, David Sword; sister, Sonya Sword; and countless friends, neighbors, customers, and community members that were such a big part of her life.

Per Jamie’s request, there will be no memorial service, and her ashes will be spread where she was happiest as a child during a private family gathering later this year.
