James Roy Seiber, 80, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019. He was born in Bend to Roy and Irene (Turpin) Seiber. The family moved to Sweet Home in 1950, where James continued to live.

James loved fishing, camping, the outdoors, and spending time with his family. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and a friend to everyone.

James is survived by his children, Brenda (Gary) Seiber-Graber of Sweet Home, Ken Seiber of Bend, Gayle Seiber-Giddings of Lebanon, Dean Triplett of Sweet Home, Daryl Triplett of Sweet Home, John (Kathleen) Metzer of LaPine, and Tanya (Dave) Colgan-Ramos of Newport; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews that loved him very much; and his 30-pound Maine Coon cat, Steve Martin, that he loved very much.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jeanette; son Alan; wife Marie; parents Roy and Irene; brother Robert; and sister Pat.

The memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 3, at New Life in Christ Fellowship, formerly Sweet Home Mennonite Church. A luncheon will follow the service. A private inurnment will be at a later date.
