A celebration of his life will take place at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 7, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
James Arlo Pulver, 75, of Albany, Oregon (formerly of Sweet Home), slipped peacefully from this life into the waiting arms of Jesus on August 26, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Carrington, North Dakota to Cass and Frances (McDonald) Pulver.
He worked at Wah Chang for over 30 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved playing pool and cards with friends. He drew strength from his family.
He is survived by his wife, Vanda; children Teresa Pulver, Todd and Kathy Pulver, Shirley Taylor, Richard Taylor, and Penny and Gary Cooke; eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild with one on the way; sisters Mattie Oak and Arlyse Link; brother-in-law Dean; and many nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents, sister Thelma, and brother Gary.
