Inez W. Tyler, 95, of Lebanon, Oregon passed away Sunday. She was born in Lexington, Oregon to Roy Edward and Helen G. (Kirk) Tyler.

Inez lived in Willamina, West Stayton, and Berlin, and then moved to Lebanon in 1937.

She worked as a bank teller. She also worked in a children’s home in Palmer, Alaska for nine years. She taught elementary school for five years in Alaska and also for 15 years at Christian School in Sweet Home, Oregon.

She loved gardening, sewing, hiking, and horseback riding.

Inez is survived by: her sister, Mary Nelson of Lebanon, Oregon; Louise Meiling of Lebanon, Oregon; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Oregon.

She was preceded in death by: sisters and brothers, Elma Stewart, Loten Tyler, Everett Tyler, Sam Tyler, Mildred Henkle, Cora Cantrell, Rosalie Tyler, and Edward Tyler; mother, Helen Tyler; and father, Royal E. Tyler.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, October 22, 2010 at Waterloo Community Chapel.
