Ila I. Greenaway, 99, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Monday, June 12, 2017. She was born in Holley to Oran C. and Etta Lela (Hufford) King. She was raised in Holley.

Ila made her choice to serve the Lord when she was 14 years of age in meetings that were held by Agda Sterling and Rose Spears in Halsey.

While she was single, she worked as a nurse and then a clerk.

She married Jacob Greenaway November 28, 1945 in Oregon City. After children arrived, she was a homemaker.

From the early 1950s to 1988, Ila and her husband, Jake, lived in Spokane, Washington. In 1989, they moved to Sweet Home. Her final years were spent in Sweet Home.

Those who mourn her loss are her son, Larry, three sisters, a brother, and many friends.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 20, at Sweet Home Evangelical Church. Final burial will follow at Gilliland Cemetery.
