Helen “Juanita” Henry, 89, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Monday, May 31, 2021. She was born in De Queen, Arkansas to Otis B. and Rena E. (Ayers) Smith.

Juanita lived in De Queen until she was married to G.W. Henry in 1949. They moved to Sweet Home in 1950. Juanita worked at White’s Electronics for many years. She was a Sunday School Teacher and Song Leader at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church where her husband pastored. She enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband, but, most of all, Juanita loved being a wife, mother, and homemaker.

Juanita is survived by her husband, G.W. Henry, of Sweet Home; son, Donald Henry, and his wife, Mary Delaine; two grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and three great, great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.

The viewing will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. The graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 3, at Gilliland Cemetery.
