Heaven R. “Angel” King, 36, was found near Cottage Grove on Wednesday July 9th. She was born in Corvallis to Floyd and Aletha (Fox) King.

Angel grew up in Lebanon and attended grade school, middle school, and high school there. She enjoyed poetry, art, coloring, and writing about her feelings. She also enjoyed being outdoors, swimming, and being around her family.

She is survived by: her daughter, Katie King, of Sweet Home; son, K.C. King, of Sweet Home; sisters, Teddy King Gregg of Sweet Home and Dee Dee King of West Salem; and father, Floyd King of Sweet Home. Angel was preceded in death by her mother, Aletha (2002), and brother, David King (2003).

A memorial service is planned for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, at the large gazebo in Waterloo Park, Waterloo, Oregon. You are invited to bring your own chair. A potluck will follow the service and guests are asked to bring salads and veggies.
