Gloria Clare Kline Shadle, 71, of Lebanon, Oregon passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020. She was born in Portland to Glen E. and Irene G. (Schmidt) Kline.
Gloria’s father served in the United States Air Force, so the family traveled the world living over seas. Gloria attended high school on Edwards Air Force Base, after which she moved to Portland.
Gloria worked for 15 years as an Eligibility worker for the Department of Human Services of Oregon. In 1987, she moved to Vancouver, Washington to attend Clark Community College. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling. She worked for Lifeline Connections in Vancouver from 1992 to 2012.
She retired in 1995 and bought property in Lacomb, where she spent her retired years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended in Lebanon. She was a supporter of The Oath Keepers.
Gloria is survived by her husband, Alan E. Shadle, of Lacomb; daughters Christina M. Kaufman of Vancouver, Washington and Cecilia Jean “Jeanie” Meyers of Lacomb; step-daughters Tracey Thomas of Waterloo, Stacey Jewel of Lebanon, and Cecilia Diane of Sweet Home; step-son Casey A. Shadle; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren, including one due on December 13th. She was preceded in death by son Benjamin Oliver Borrell who died at the age of 23 in October 1997.
