George Wagner, 68, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Saturday, June 24. He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Robert and Gertrude Ball (Weber) Wagner.

He worked at Ridgewood Meat Company in Merced, California. He was a Christian Catholic.

George enjoyed Western movies and music, hot fudge sundaes, fishing, and flea markets. He also loved to sing, NASCAR racing, and kissing the girls.

He is survived by his wife, Dora, of Merced, California; children Christina Harderson of Sweet Home, Christopher Wagner of Tennessee, and Angela Wagner of Merced County; siblings John Wagner of Merced, California, Mary Thompson of Lebanon, Helen Brown of Sweet Home, Hazel Meldgaard of Lebanon, Evelyn Spray and Bonnie Tillinghast of Sweet Home, Edward Wagner of Camas, Washington, and Joseph Wagner of Sweet Home; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

George was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, and sisters, Pauline Voll and Mary Thompson.
