George Pappas, 69, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Monday, November 16, 2020. He was born in Greece, Island of Crete to Constantine and Antonia (Rokakis) Pappas.

He immigrated to the United States as a child. He resided the majority of life in Ventura County, California. He was in Sweet Home for the last six years.

George spent roughly 40 years as an independent painting contractor. When not working, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with grandkids, being with family, and rock hounding with his wife.

George is survived by his three daughters, Heather Pappas of Ventura, California, Carrie Pappas of Ojai, California, Jenny Middleton of Sweet Home; grandchildren, Danny Lucero, Kylee Lucero, Cade Randall, Constantine Pappas, Kira Middleton; and sister, Kaliope Valadakis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Debi Pappas.
