George Arthur Matzke, 67, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Saturday, March 17. He was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin to Betty Lou (Daughty) and Orville H. Matzke.

George came to Sweet Home to reside twenty years ago to care for and be with Mother after his father passed away in 1996.

He loved fishing and watching Family Feud.

George is survived by daughter Karen; sons Donald and Danny; sisters Lou Ann and Nona; brother John; sister-in-law Barbara; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; nieces Rosie and Tricia; and nephews Richard, J.J., and John, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Jacquline; and nephews Gilbert and Corey.

A viewing with reception will take place Tuesday, March 27, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
