Frank E. Vandehei, Sr., of Lebanon, formerly of Sweet Home passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024. He was born in Salmon, Idaho to Ralph and Faye (Miller) Vandehei.

Frank has lived in Sweet Home since 1962 when he came to work on Green Peter and Foster Dams. He worked construction for many years before he started selling real estate and later became a broker. He was a Kiwanis member and served as the president at one time. Frank played numerous types of guitars. He was in a band and enjoyed entertaining people with his music for many years. He loved hunting, fishing and water skiing in his younger years. He moved to Lebanon four years ago to be near his daughter.

Frank is survived by his son, Ivan Vandehei of Sweet Home; daughter, Shirley Miller of Lebanon; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley in 2013 and son Frank Vandehei Jr. in 1995.

Viewing will be 3 pm – 5 pm Thursday, August 8th at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Graveside service will be 11 am Thursday, August 15th at Gilliland Cemetery. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. www.sweethomefuneral.com.
