Viewing and Rosary will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 14, at St. Helen’s Catholic Church. Funeral mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. Final burial with military honors will be at Gilliland Cemetery.
Florencio Rodriguez, 72, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Tuesday, July 7. He was born in Edinburg, Texas to Pedro and Pabla (Trevino) Rodriguez.
He worked at the Salem unemployment office from 1976 to 1983.
Florencio enjoyed gardening, painting, and carpentry. He loved farm animals, bird aviaries, and tinkering on cars.
Florencio is survived by: his wife, Eva Rodriguez, of Sweet Home; sons Taurino Rodriguez of Cumming, Georgia and Armando Rodriguez of Coos Bay; daughters Paula Storbeck of Coos Bay and Kimberly Mooney of North Bend; stepson Adam Grandorff of Newport Beach, California; seven sisters; six brothers; 18 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Pabla Trevino; his father, Pedro Rodriguez; a sister and a brother.
