Eva Louella Looney, age 93, of Sweet Home passed away Sunday. She was born at her family’s farm in Sweet Home, Oregon to Henry (Hank) and Libbie (Godwin) Cowitz.

She enjoyed raising farm animals and a bountiful garden every year. Her knack for sewing enabled her to make her own clothing and her children’s. Eva made beautiful crocheted throws and embroidered many pillow cases.
For enjoyment, Eva loved crossword puzzles, reading, and was especially talented at fishing.
Serving Christ and his church were a top priority, as well as being of service to her family.
