Ernest Zamudio, 58, of Lebanon, Oregon passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016. He was born in Alpine, Texas to Ernesto and Maria Lydia (Ramirez) Zamudio.

He grew up in Del Rio, Texas and then moved to Oregon in 1991. He became a finance manager for Hertz Car Sales of Salem.

Ernest was an avid golfer (on his days off) and bowled Thursday nights in Lebanon. He was an active member of St. Helens Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Christy, of Lebanon; daughters Jennie of Sweet Home and Miranda of Lacey, Washingtion; and grandchildren Logan and Kindall; mother Lydia of Texas; and three sisters (two living in Texas and one living in California).

Ernest was preceded in death by his father in 2002.

Donations can be made in Ernest’s name to the St. Helens Catholic Church.

Funeral Mass will be at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, March 5, at St. Helens Catholic Church in Sweet Home.
