Erna Grace Pease, 86, of Sweet Home passed away Friday. She was born in Los Angeles, California to Albert and Lena (Holzworth) Bondesen.

Erna grew up in Los Angeles and married Walter Pease in 1948. In 1949 Erna and Walter moved to Oregon, and then they moved to San Dimas, California in 1964, and then to Sun City, Arizona. Walter passed away in 1973.

Erna moved to Sweet Home in 2002 and spent time in Bandon before making Sweet Home her home.

Erna made her career in electronics. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Crocheting was her favorite hobby. Erna also enjoyed sewing, crafts, ceramics, and painting.

She is survived by: her sons, William Pease of Riverside, California, Robert Pease of Bandon, and Michael Pease of Bend; daughters, Doris Loiseau of Morro Bay, California and Kathy Rivas of Sweet Home; special niece, Denise Parrish of Bandon; youngest brother, John Bondeson of Valencia, California; 21 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Erna was preceded in death by: her brothers, Albert, Dave, and Roy; and her grandson, Jeremy (in 1992).
