Funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 3, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Private burial will be at Norway Cemetery in Myrtle Point, Oregon.
Ena W. Kirk, 95, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013. She was born in Holley, Oregon to Oran Clifford and Etta Lela (Hufford) King.
Ena was raised in Holley. She lived in Sitkum, Oregon from 1942 to 1966. Her family then moved to Bandon, Oregon and lived there from 1966 to 1975. She ultimately returned to Holley in 1975 and spent the rest of her life there.
She was an elementary school teacher and taught in Linn and Coos counties.
Ena is survived by: her sons, Dave Kirk of Holley and Richard Kirk (and wife, Linda) of Sitkum; granddaughters, Emma Kirk (and husband, Joel) of Corvallis and Mae Kirk (and husband, Tim Counts) of Holley; siblings, Ila Greenaway (Ena’s identical twin sister) (and husband, Jake) of Sweet Home, Doris Starr of Sweet Home, Arene Kirk (and husband, Richard Kirk) of Lebanon, June Dennison of Sweet Home, Otis King (and wife, Elizabeth) of Holley, and Joy Koropp (and husband, John) of Fountain Hills, Arizona.
Ena was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Kirk, in 1971.
