Ellen Leslie King, 65, of Sweet Home, passed away Sunday. She was born in San Diego, California to Leo Arlie and Georgia Ann (Hurt) King.

She moved to Oregon from Kansas in 1979 and has lived mainly in the Willamette Valley ever since.

Leslie worked in many care places as a CNA. She later changed to in-home health care.

She loved pool, older country music, movies and Elvis.

Leslie is survived by her husband William King of Sweet Home; two daughters: Misty Stalford of Lebanon, Vivian Matney of Millersburg; numerous siblings, grandchildren, and two great grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her mother Georgia Slover; father Leo King; mother-in-law Lillie King; father-in-law Glenn King; sister-in-laws: Wanda Shakman, Shirley Simpson and Iredene Hanson.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ellen’s name to Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
