Elizabeth “Betty” Wilkinson, 92, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Saturday, November 14. She was born in Flint, Michigan to Isaiah and Frances Lavell (Lowry) VanArsdale.

Betty lived in Sweet Home for over 30 years. She was an elementary school teacher for private Seventh-day Adventists schools and loved to teach children. She taught for many years in California, Colorado, and Oregon. She was a life-long member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

She is survived by: her brother, Leon VanArsdale, of California; step-daughter, Janice Woolever, of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by:her husband, Lyle Wilkinson, two sisters, and two brothers.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 19, at the Sweet Home Seventh-day Adventist Church. Urn placement will take place later at Powell Cemetery.
