Earl Sylvester Haase II, 68, of Sweet Home, Oregon moved on from this world on Wednesday during a late-day nap. Earl was born in Fall River, Massachusetts to Earl Sylvester and Evelyn (Arruda) Haase.

He married Cheryl Lynn Wend of Lebanon in 1977 and moved to Lebanon the same year.

Earl worked in the Sweet Home waste water treatment plant for many years before moving to the Caribbean in 1991. After his retirement in 2012, Earl and Cheryl returned to Lebanon.

He was a lover of the outdoors. He spent much of his spare time pursuing his favorite hobbies of fishing, hunting, boating, and gardening.

Earl is survived by his wife, Cheryl; eldest son, Earl III; and twin children, Cameron and Christa; brother, Allen; and sister, Beverly.

Celebrating his memory, his family will be holding a small, private ceremony to spread his ashes in his favorite places. The Haase/Wend family thank you for your warm wishes in this time of grieving.
