Dustin Andrew Brown, 45, of Sweet Home passed away Friday, August 30, 2024.
He was born August 10, 1979, to Bob and Charlotte (Erner) Brown in Fort Bliss, Texas.

He came to Albany in March 1980, his Dad was leaving for the Army. He moved to Sweet Home in 1994 after the state decided to put him into foster care as he didn’t want to go with his parents.

He moved to Albany with his first wife Vivian Matney where he started his family, he later got divorced and eventually started over with his second wife, Alicia Upton they planned on moving to Montana but plans fell thru so he made a decision the move back to Sweet Home in 2013. Dustin made a life for him and his family but later got divorced. He stayed in Sweet Home to stay close to his children, as they were the most important things in his life.

Dustin was a handyman and a painter working various jobs. He was a christian. He enjoyed camping, hiking, motorcycles, he loved to sing karaoke, write songs and poetry.

He is survived by his children: Elyjah Engelbrecht of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Korrin Matney of Sweet Home, Olivia Matney of Lebanon, Micah Ray Matney of Lebanon, Anna Upton of Lebanon; siblings: Shannon Brown and Nathen Brown; his girlfriend Heather Ives, his non biological children: Elaine Barlow, Gabby O’Malley, three grandchildren and two non biological grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter Angle Marie Matney (2006)
