Doris Louise Starr, 93, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Monday, May 5, 2014. She was born in Holley to Oran and Etta (Hufford) King.

Doris spent her early years in Holley, then lived most of her life in Lebanon. She moved to Sweet Home in 2010. She taught school as a young woman and enjoyed being a homemaker and having her family around her.

Doris is survived by: her daughters, Sheri Richardson of Oregon City and Kim Prescott of Independence; sons Craig and Jim Starr, both of Lebanon; sisters Ila Greenaway of Sweet Home, Arene Kirk of Lebanon, June Dennison of Sweet Home, and Joy Koropp of Fountain Hills, Arizona; brother Otis King of Holley; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 2 great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Delbert E. Starr (2011); son Dennis Starr (1994); and sister Ena Kirk (2013).

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 8, at Sweet Home Evangelical Church.
