Donna Mae (James) Tagen, 75, of Lebanon and Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Tuesday at a care home in Albany. She was born in Klamath Falls to Edgar St. Clair and Jaunita Shirley (LaFever) James.

She was residing at Timber View Care Center in Albany for seven months. She lived most of her life in Oregon.

Donna was a housekeeper at hotels for seven years, and went on to be a care provider for 13 years. She then worked for eight years and retired from White’s Electronics in 2007.

She loved to fish, camp, and be in the outdoors. She loved family gatherings and spending time with each of her family members.

Our mother was a very special lady. She loved her children unconditionally. She had a heart of gold. She wanted nothing more than to share her love with her family. and to anyone else who came into her life! She was loved by everyone and will forever and always be in our hearts and memories. She will be missed, but never forgotten.

Donna is survived by her children: Clay and his wife Lisa Tagen, Laura (Tagen) Housen of Sweet Home, Guy Tagen of Salem, Gregory and his wife Tonya Tagen of Sweet Home, James and his wife Kerri Tagen of Lebanon, Sherman and his wife Madison Tagen of Albany; siblings: Vernon and his wife Sharon James of Anchorage, Alaska, Shirley Blish of Sweet Home, Freddie and his wife Ann James of Indiana, Sharon and her husband Bo Holland of Oklahoma, Richard Laney of Texas; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother; father; ex husband George Everett Tagen; brother Arnold James; sisters Betty Jo Scott, infant sister Rose-Marie; grandson Mason Tagen; and great grandson Mason Andrew Kent.
