Donna L. (Lutton) Blanchard, 84, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday. She was born in Alsea, Oregon to Orval and Cressie (Vidatoe) Weaver.

She came to Sweet Home from Alsea during her teenage years. She met and later married James Lutton who was in Sweet Home on leave from the United States Navy. James was a decorated Pearl Harbor survivor. They enjoyed hunting and fishing and working together at the Lakeside Sporting Goods Store in Foster. The family remembered the true love they had for each other and it was a happy marriage. Jim passed away in 1985.

Donna then married John Blanchard who also passed away before her.

Donna is survived by: her children, Larry Vallad of Newport, Oregon, Thomas Lutton of Blain, Washington, and JoAnne Lutton of Sweet Home; her brother, Virgil D. Weaver; her sister, Ellaine Rankin; and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her husbands, Jim Lutton and John Blanchard; an infant son; daughters, Randee Lutton and Geraldine Lutton; and son, William Lutton.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
