Donald Blankenship, 73, of Sweet Home, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025. He was born June 11, 1952 to Helen L. (Hill) and Boyd L.D. Blankenship in Hector, Arkansas.

He went graduated from Sweet Home High School. Attended Kirkland Northwest Bible College and Oral Roberts Bible College in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Donald was a restaurant cook his last job was at the Taft Home in Portland. He moved back to Sweet Home in 2015.

Donald loved his agates. He enjoyed going to the lake and find strange wood to whittle. He liked plants of all kinds. He was a very good artist, he painted with oil paint. Donald also played the piano and was very talented.

He is survived by his brother, Paul Blankenship of Shedd, sister Charolette (Leach) Popovic of Yuma, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents Helen and Boyd Blankenship, and sister Janice Majors.
