Diane Kay Turpin, 59, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014. She was born in Corvallis to Joseph T. and Gladys Adeline (Peterson) Nissen.

Diane moved to Sweet Home three years ago to be near her sons. She love fishing, camping, and going to the coast. Diane enjoyed painting and riding horses when she was younger.

She is survived by: her children LeRoy Turpin, Robert and wife Debbie Turpin, and Tom Turpin, all of Sweet Home; sisters Joyce McCormick of Monroe and Shirley Gould of Sweet Home; grandchildren Robert, Dylan, Haley, and Andrew. Diane was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert M. Turpin (1994), and nephew, Christopher Gould (2011).

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 15, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sweet Home.
