Derril Loux

Dean Loux, 86, of Sweet Home passed away Tuesday. He was born in Walthill, Nebraska to Ralph E. and Gladys (Theobald) Loux.
Dean served in the United States Army from 1945 to 1948 in Japan and the United States. He lived up and down the West Coast from California to Alaska and worked as an electronics technician for 35 years. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing, and telephoning his family and friends.
Dean is survived by: his wife, Marguerite Lucile Loux of Sweet Home; daughter, Rebecca Loux Cole of Sweet Home; sons, Terry Loux of Pasco, Washington, John Loux of Corvallis, and Jay Loux of Caldwell, Idaho; brothers, Gene Loux of Santa Monica, California and Don Loux of Nampa, Idaho; sisters, Nyla Lott of Dallas and Neoma Meng of Lebanon; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: brothers, Raymond, Wayne, Orville, and Ralph Jr. Loux; sisters, Edna Hoyt, Priscilla Butcher, and Esther McIntyre; parents, Ralph E. and Gladys Loux; and grandson, Jeffrey Loux.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
