Debra Sue Settles Sanchez, 59, a Sweet Home, Oreogn resident of 25 years, died Sunday morning at her home. She was born in Valentine, Nebraska to Jefferson Davis and Patricia Ann (House) Settles.

Debra loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed reading, cooking, playing games, and reconnecting with childhood friends on Facebook.

Debra is survived by her son, Michael Taylor, and his wife, Sarah; daughters: Bobbi Jo Henson of Sweet Home, Sara Suarez-Holder and her husband, Randy, of Sweet Home, Rabeca Sanchez Leon and her husband, Tino, of Everett, Washington, and Laticia Sanchez of Sweet Home; seven grandchildren; sisters: Beverly Frederick and her husband, Larry, of Sweet Home, Carolyn Harris and her husband, Lynn, of Tenino, Washington; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Debra was preceded in death by her mother and father.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 14, at Sweet Home Veterans Club. A private graveside ceremony will come early spring.
