Dean Richard Mink, 90, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Friday, August 10. He was born in Lebanon to Archie L. and Rita S. (Sherfy) Mink.

He graduated from Sweet Home High School.

Dean served in the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran.

After returning from Korea, Dean married Betty L. Cheek. They bought a home in Sweet Home where they raised their children and lived their lives.

Dean was a Timber Faller for work. He loved hunting, fishing, and trapping.

Dean is survived by son Gerald Mink of Sweet Home; daughter Linda Ferebee of Sweet Home; sister Freida Noah of Sweet Home; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mink; son Danny Mink; grandson Dewayne Mink; and parents.
