Dean Anderson, 51, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Saturday, March 17, from complications of the flu. He was born on August 13, 1966 in Shelton, Washington, the son of Eugene and Linda (Deyette) Anderson.

Dean graduated from Mary M. Knight High School in Matlock, Washington. He served in the United States Navy and was a marine electrician until becoming disabled. He moved to Sweet Home a year ago. Dean loved all sports.

He is survived by his daughters, Angela Anderson of Pittsburg, California and Lindsey Anderson of Carson City, Nevada; brother Doug Anderson of Montesano, Washington; mother Linda Anderson of Sweet Home; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene, and his brother, Dennis Anderson.
